Thank you to the Bachata Academy from Cabarete, Dominican Republic for performing at WHEELS today! This amazing bachata concert quickly turned into a dance party.

We are grateful to Sarah Elizabeth Charles for including WHEELS students in her songwriting for Babylon Beyond Borders. Check out this interview with Ms. Charles about this project on Hollywood SOAPBOX! The process began back in November with this, and after a second visit to WHEELS last month Sarah Elizabeth Charles finished composing a couple of songs with input from our students. She performed the songs this past week at a concert at Harlem Stage, which included a WHEELS senior performing with her on stage, and in the Babylon Beyond Borders livestream performance.

Congratulations to the three WHEELS students that performed in the MEANYC All-County chorus and jazz band this weekend!
