Over the weekend six WHEELS middle and high school students performed with various bands as part of Jazz at Lincoln Center's youth programs!

Thank you to the Jazz Foundation of America for bringing the great drummer Jackie Williams and his quartet, including bassist Michael Max Fleming, to WHEELS last Friday! WHEELS students had the privilege of jamming with these jazz greats on "Billie's Bounce" and "Sonnymoon for Two."

Sarah Elizabeth Charles returned to WHEELS last Thursday to continue a songwriting project with WHEELS students!

Jazz Power Initiative came to WHEELS to recruit more students for the new year!

Last Wednesday one hundred WHEELS 6th and 7th graders performed in our annual Winter Concerts. For many of these students it was their first time performing in our auditorium. We're very proud of all their hard work!
