WHEELS high school students' composition, "Señoritas," was selected be performed by the great Toshi Reagon at the Soul Mechanism concert at Carnegie Hall on May 19th!

WHEELS has received a SupportMusic Merit Award from the NAMM Foundation for the third year in a row!

The great percussionist, Annette Aguilar, has been working with our band and general music students!

We are grateful for the support of our wonderful Family Teacher Association (FTA). Elementary, middle and high school band students had fun performing at the annual FTA International Night Potluck!

Thank you to the Bachata Academy from Cabarete, Dominican Republic for performing at WHEELS today! This amazing bachata concert quickly turned into a dance party.

We are grateful to Sarah Elizabeth Charles for including WHEELS students in her songwriting for Babylon Beyond Borders. Check out this interview with Ms. Charles about this project on Hollywood SOAPBOX! The process began back in November with this, and after a second visit to WHEELS last month Sarah Elizabeth Charles finished composing a couple of songs with input from our students. She performed the songs this past week at a concert at Harlem Stage, which included a WHEELS senior performing with her on stage, and in the Babylon Beyond Borders livestream performance.
